The Ooooooo-Weee! (More intense than a normal fashion fix, here's what has me feenin')

You Gets No Love

Sigh... Your girl was a little sad today. She didn't have a Valentine. (I know, I know... Girl Power! Love Thy Self, and all that. We single gals appreciate the pep talks about self love. After a while, though, it all sounds like blah blah blah.) I definitely love me, but it'd be nice to know someone of the opposite sex shares the sentiment. Anyway, date or not (usually not), I try to get myself a V-day gift every year, but this year I couldn't think of anything that wasn't mushy or cliche. I've already bought myself diamonds and perfume and chocolate and wine. A T-shirt that expresses exactly what I feel on the sappiest of days? Haven't done that yet, but I'm gonna have to grab one from loveislame.com. As my favorite celeb publicist (and cousin) said in her Sistah-girl email today, "Cupid can kick rocks!" Ok, Ok, I'm not that bitter, but I still think this tee is pretty cool, and I look forward to what people will say when I wear it.

That New New for You You (Nude Shoes Headed Stateside)

Interlude in the Nude

StyleScrybe is doing her happy dance! You know how you see the perfect shoe on a site like Shoewawa or the Shoe Blog and get excited because it goes perfectly with your "freak 'em" dress... and then you feel all let down because it's only sold on other continents, and by the time you pay the converted price you're looking at "I Wish I May" numbers? Soon that won't be the case with Nude shoes. The infinitely chic Autralian brand that manages to mix vintage and modern in the perfect proportions is headed stateside. I'm not sure where they'll be available yet, but my sources say they'll be sold at great prices in a controlled distribution set. I'll keep you posted, though.

Five, Six, Pick Up... (Time to Barack & Poll!)

Yep, in the Right Tee!

StyleScrybe is scratching her head... Howcom
e the political group they call "the right" seems to get it all so wrong? Don't answer that... I just wanted to make you go "hmmm." Anyway, in honor of Super Tuesday, StyleScrybe has decided to give you a little guidance as you head to the polls. I can't tell you which Democratic candidate to vote for, but I am absolutely compelled to make a wardrobe suggestion or two (wink, wink). Here are five tees I found that express the "right" mind state for election '08. You won't get them before you cast your vote if you order online, but I'm sure they'll be appropriate until November. I was right about the Superbowl (Go Big Blue!), so you can quote me on the elections too...

This time, the shirts aren't divided into categories (because Barack Obama's all about unity).

Oooooh... Light bulb moment... Somebody should make a tee that says "B.O. knows politics"
